Pros:

-MVP baskets in good condition, color-coded with the tees
-colored, circular plates in the grass for tees
-two holes throwing over a small creek
-good bridge for creek crossing
-if you have the park to yourself, safari options are there too

Cons:

-very small park with lots of potential for interference
-one hole throws directly over the basketball court
-some spots in the creek could be tricky to access depending on the water level

Other Thoughts:

Quanah City Park's disc golf course is a novel concept. It's a tiny little park with four holes in a counter-clockwise circle. Each hole has a color-coded tee marker and basket. Rather than being numbered, there is a red hole, a blue hole, a green hole, and an orange hole.

The red and blue holes both cross over a creek that bisects the park. The blue hole's basket is fairly close to the creek so it's a risk/reward shot.

Unfortunately the green hole plays directly over a basketball court so that one is out if anyone is on the court. There are also a few park benches that could potentially be in play and pedestrians could be anywhere; there aren't any walking paths, just a limited area. There isn't a parking lot so I entered from the east side of the park on Louise St., parked next to the basketball court, and started with the red hole.

This is a cool use of the space and must be some local's personal practice area. The red and blue holes are good, the other two are filler. If you want to spend more time here and get creative, the safari options are wide open if you have the park to yourself. I think this place is a fun stop, just for the novelty. That said, I can't imagine I'll be back. It's a really easy stop for course baggers. It's a hard one to rate too, mine is probably generous but I had fun.
