Pros:
Mix of good length Holes, and shorter technical ones. Set in a nice park, with views over the lake. Very quiet, peaceful venue.
Cons:
Strong winds off the lake can make play very challenging. There is a bike path running through the course which can delay play - but it's no biggie.
Other Thoughts:
Would be great to see some picnic tables and BBQ's. I would say at the moment that I prefer this course to Jesmond.

Pros:
Short course and an easy walk. Being so close to the lake, it's a great place to be on a hot day. Great views. Not a lot of places to lose discs (but it happens). Good fun.
Cons:
The toilets can be pretty grim (like most public blocks these days). Not the DG course's fault though - just be prepared.
Other Thoughts:
The amenities block behind the first tee has a tap for water refills.
