Pros:
Very challenging course but it's not to the point of being discouraging. This course allows you to gain on your strengths while definitely pointing out your weaknesses. Joe Johnson did an excellent job designing this course. There are holes for every shot in your arsenal. This was the first time I played Road Apple and hopefully I'll be permitted to come back for more.
Cons:
This course can be muddy and wet depending on the time of the year but let's be honest; it's in the woods! The owner did an excellent job constructing cross-log walkways to keep you out of the mud. The baskets are a little "soft" as I call them and you have to be careful on your putting. They are cheaper baskets with added chains but do the trick and really, should not be a Con for this course - the lay-out makes up for it!!
Other Thoughts:
Overall, I've been playing for about 3 years now and have been to quite a few courses in PA, NY, and OH; I have to say that this is DEFINATELY ranked as one of my favorites so far. Road Apple is a BEAUTIFUL, FUN, and CHALLENGING course.
