To properly set up the 2nd shot, you don't want to overdrive the fairway on the tee shot. You want to just make the corner, and stay on the left/uphill side of the fairway. I either throw a mid to stay short, or a driver very high hyzer.
To be fair, there is a lower gap cleared out now but it is much narrower, if you throw long.
