Disc Golf in ANTARCTICA! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 4, 2015 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

It's in Antarctica. It's exclusive. Discs can easily be had from the rec department for a small deposit, so you won't be losing any of your favorite discs (not that it'd be very easy to lose discs, maybe if you play early summer while there's still snow). We played from basket to basket as there are no official tees setup. Most shots have few obstacles in the way, but that can change from week-to-week or even on a daily basis.

Cons:

Can be very windy and the baskets aren't all permanent. Found a few baskets pretty banged up and knocked over (The course goes through a shipping and receiving yard with lots of heavy equipment).

Other Thoughts:

There are no official tees setup, the course can only be played during austral-summer months, and the course can easily be closed at times due to lots of freight movement. None of these are cons, just notes.
