Pros:
Great variety of distances, shot shapes, wooded/non-wooded holes, especially on the long pins.
Most holes can be played a variety of ways. Bad shots can get punished hard, but good shots feel great.
The upkeep on the course is very good.
Concrete tee pads and hole signs with distance, par, etc. were recently added.
Two pin positions for most holes that are switched up several times a year and play fairly different.
Cons:
Field gets very wet when it rains, I wouldn't advise going after a heavy rain. And the rough is thick in the late spring/summer, easy to lose discs. Have a spotter on the wooded holes, especially if it's your first time at Sahm.
Mostly par 3s.
Other Thoughts:
One of my go-to courses when it's dry.
