Pros:
The course plays through the park with green grass, mostly short holes. Aside from disc golf you have the river flowing through this park with a really pretty walking bridge, and train tracks across the street. Small tee signs give the basic information and tee pads are like astro turf or the like. The river only comes into play if you're wild off the tee and considering the length here it shouldn't happen often that you end up in it even for newer players. Navigation is super simple and the discatchers are in great shape.
I really enjoyed hole 2. After the short hole 1 you walk across the bridge over the river and throw this RHBH turnover or left or right shot tucked into the trees where the landing zone is between a road and the bushes/river on the right. This is the longest and most interesting/challenging hole on the course at 290 feet.
Cons:
Like I said it's a short course designed for newer players in mind so distance isn't challenged really at all. There are a fair amount of obstacles but I would like more. 6 holes seems about right for this piece of property but I found one more spot they could put a 7th basket and fairway at just in front of the cars.
Other Thoughts:
This was a fun one. Brought out my Champion Zephyr for the one disc round and went around twice which 12 holes took me maybe 20 minutes. It's not a destination course or a big challenging course but it's a pretty area and a fun, fast round. If you're in the area or driving through it's worth a quick round just to bag it.
