Pros:

-Regulation baskets on all holes.
-Beginner friendly design
-Has some good change in the terrain on the "back side" (6,7,8,9)
-Holes 2,3,6 & 7 make good use of trees to add a bit of technical challenge
-Decent mix of long/open and shorter technical holes
-Beautiful setting
-Would prob be a great spot for some night golf, bummed i didn't try it while i was there
-Great free camping 2 miles west of town at Iron Creek

Cons:

-Tee pads aren't well marked: 1 & 5 not at all when i started playing the course, overall the painted stones could be improved upon
-No maps, but not tough to navigate
-Crowds can get in the way, there's a walking trail that goes thru parts of the course. Also, popular wedding site in the summer (the entire park can be reserved making it virtually unplayable)
-Can be very windy at times being on top of a barren hill
-More permanent tee pads or even just markers could easily be installed, they've already invested in the baskets
-No real market in town for discs, i was told one of the gear shops sometimes has discs but didn't find any...closest supply was over an hour away in Ketchum

Other Thoughts:

This was my "home course" for 5 months while working in the area, played it dozens of times and did what i could to improve the tee pad marker situation...basically just stacked a few more rocks on some to make them stand out more.
Hole 4 is pretty long and open, i have yet to find out (or decide for myself) if it's a par 4 or really long par 3.
As others mention, it's not the greatest course, but it did the job as the closest real course to where i lived...and was as decent as the rogue course i made up in Challis.

Quick Course, Stunning Scenery 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 8, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Amazing scenery
- No crowds
- Quality disc catchers
- Good mix of hole distance
- Hole #7 was a fun downhill throw

Cons:

- Lack of variety and technical holes
- Difficult to find tees. I had trouble finding the tee box for holes 1, 4, & 7
- Painted white rocks used as tee markers were difficult to find on some holes since there were natural white rocks that can throw you off.

Other Thoughts:

Start north of the parking lot, sweep around the perimeter of the park counter-clockwise then parallel the road back up for holes 8 & 9. I'd like this course more if the tee boxes were easier to find, adding another white rock to each hole would be a start.

Fun Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 21, 2013 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Good variety of long vs. Short shots
-Great location with some of the best views of the Sawtooth Mountain range.
-Great use of available terrain, the course makes use of elevation and the few trees in the park.
-Beginner friendly, I took a bunch of 12 and 13 year old kids from a summer camp I volunteer at and they all had a blast learning how to play and they kept wanting to go back.

Cons:

-Tee pads are hard to find, if existent. They are marked by tiny rocks painted white with a number on them.
-No signage, I had to find a guy that was playing the course to track down the first tee
-Windy, always.
-only a 9 hole

Other Thoughts:

This is not a destination course, but if you are in the area you might as well throw a few holes. You can see the sawtooth mountains on every shot which is always breathtaking. I give it a 2 because it is fun to play but it won't blow your hair back.
