Pros:
- Great Tees
- Great signage
- Great baskets
- Fun and interesting holes which will test a range of shots and will improve as the trees grow
- beautifully maintained
- pro shop
- cafe on site
Cons:
- fairly short
- not particularly challenging borderline red/white level course.
Other Thoughts:
Stokesely is a beautifully maintained little course playing alongside the driving range on a purpose contoured and planted footgolf course.
There are excellent tees, signage and baskets and a fun little layout. The available space has been well used and that is it's only real downside that there isn't much more that can be done with a small area and fairways close to one another.
The course is pay to play but definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, especially as there are no other courses within an hour at the moment.
Stokesley should do a brilliant job in introducing the sport to the area and help grow our wonderful sport!
This is the first course in the country that has installed our Castle baskets, there are many more to come but it holds a special place for me because of that!
