Pros:

Baskets and marked tees around the High School campus.
Stays mostly away from interference with other campus activities, especially if you don't throw over the tennis court fences.
Pretty good distance and balance for a school course, 3 downhill holes, 3 uphill and 3 flat holes, you can't get more balanced than that.
Great grass on most of the holes, only a couple of interactions with pavement.
#9 finishes right back next to #1, not always the case with a campus course.

Cons:

The baskets are all portables, various colors and makes, but they caught pretty well.
Natural tees marked with Red and Blue (nice touch) landscaping flags that probably won't last too long. There is pavement nearby on several holes to use.
There are a few chances for lost disc potential, neighboring property fences and thick undergrowth.
The island green on #9 is a great idea, however the traffic island in the parking lot is pretty small, probably not even Circle 1 in size.

Other Thoughts:

A pretty basic High School course, an unusual collection of various portable baskets, natural tees with no sign of tee pads, laid out to get students involved in the sport. A great way to introduce new players to the sport!
A difficult course to follow without the map on UDisc, the first hole starts at the back of the campus, right next to the #9 island green. When I showed up on a Sunday morning the gates were locked at both entrances, after contemplating (and not seeing any strict No Trespassing signs) I parked in front of one of the fences (to the side to not block the entrance) and walked in. Didn't see another person during my round and had no problems. The course flows around to the front of the campus, so I started on #6.
While most of the holes are straight, most do require some type of shot shaping. #4 turns right around the tennis courts and #5 requires a pretty sharp hyzer around a large tree.
After a pretty tight fairway on #1, fenced property to the left and thick overgrowth on the right, #2 gives you some choices. From an elevated tee, fenced property line down the left side to the basket only 15'-20' from that edge. Wide open, flat grass fairway straight ahead and to the right, so how far do you want to throw to the right and count on your fade?
#3 is probably the funnest hole on the course, flat tee area for Blue (469') and the White (409'), steady downhill to the basket, that is close to the second set of tennis courts on the right. You want to really let one rip to set up the eagle on this Par 4, but there is another property line down the left side, and it would be easy to sail one on the tennis courts down the right side.
Its good to see smaller courses like this pop up in this area of East Tennessee. There are so many good, challenging courses there, that this gives the newer and younger players a place to go to build their games.
