Pros:
- Multiple tees
- Good variety of shots available
- Looping 9 format
- Color coded baskets to separate front and back 9
Cons:
- Lack of signage (will re-evaluate when this is done)
- Flat
Other Thoughts:
This course is on the site of the abandoned Sunkissed Meadows municipal golf course. It's in the river floodplain, so it's quite flat, with the exception of a couple of holes at the east end of the park. Despite the lack of elevation, there are enough mature trees and shrubs to make for interesting shots and provide challenge for most players.
As far as I could tell, there were two tees on each hole. The long tees are concrete and the short tees are grass, marked with a metal disc on the ground.
The overall layout of the course is two loops of 9 holes each. The front and back 9 will each start and end in close proximity to the parking lot.
Overall, it's a fun course that provides short holes as well as big boomers, but mostly wide open shots.
