Pros:

The Superior middle school course features nine holes that play clockwise around the school. Hole 1 starts on the east side of the school with hole 9 ending 100 yards or so away from hole 1.

The baskets are all new Chainstars that are in great shape and catch nicely. Plenty sufficient for a course like this. One pin position per hole.

There are no tee pads per se. But 8 of the 9 holes had you teeing off from a sidewalk so it wasn't an issue as far as that goes. Hole 8 was the only one that had you throwing off the grass. This was seemingly done to make it the "signature" hole. It frames up the Superior Middle School sign on the building.

The tee "signs" are just small stakes featuring the hole number and the tops of them painted orange. This makes them pretty easy to spot.

The course is free to play and wouldn't ever seem to be busy during non school hours.

Cons:

The course is essentially the same shot over and over again. Not really much of anything for obstacles in the way. A couple trees on hole one. A lightpost on hole 5 or 6. That's literally it.

While the tee sign stakes got us from tee to tee pretty effictively today, I don't see them lasting through the end of this year even. Someone is going to pull them out and we all know they'll never be replaced. Like all the other good intentioned school courses I've played in WI.

Many holes play pretty close to the parking lots. It's a little annoying to be skidding your plastic off of roads and sidewalks.

Other Thoughts:

This is your typical WI school course. It checks all the boxes. Place baskets going either clockwise or counter clockwise around the school? Check. Play between some sports fields? Check. Make sure to have at least 2 unintuattive walks between holes? Check. Lastly and most importantly. Always be sure to have the last hole end at least 100 yds away from the parking area. It accomplishes all of these things. That said, just go ahead and skip this one. Not a lot of options around here, but almost all are better.
