A clever technical course if you like bushwhacking 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Apr 27, 2020 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

First off, I am an amateur athlete that enjoys back woods sports like adventure racing, mountain biking, and trail running. So I am very comfortable, and really enjoy bushwhacking. Therefore, I like holes that do not have an obvious groomed route, and allow you to be creative in your route choices.
That said, this course delivers!
Holes 2 to 5 go through a dense cedar forest, some with a clear path, some not so much. A few of the holes on the back 9 also run you through a hilly forest with no clear line.
The remaining holes have clear lines and traditional terrain. Wind can be a changeable factor depending on if you are high up or low down.
A very clever technical course with lots of rolling hills, off camber, and tree hazards.
Very quiet during the camping off season.

Cons:

A map may come in handy as some holes are not connected too obviously. You will get lost the first time.
Expect your disc to bang into a lot of trees. You may need a spotter if you are using your valuable discs.

Other Thoughts:

Love the place! My go to for a quiet and enjoyable time.
***** LATEST UPDATE JUNE 8 ********
Unfortunately, the course is now poorly maintained due to the fact that the conservation park is closed. Long uncut grass on almost all holes, except for holes 2 to 5. Sad...
