Nice park setting. Tee pads and signage was adequate. The designers did their best to accommodate nine holes in this wide-open shared-use park. We were there in summer, which meant the trees were in full-leaf. That required low, controlled shots to keep your disc below the ceiling of the massive trees. The holes aren't short, so the challenge was in throwing a strong shot that flies low. That was fun.

Ultimately, it was a wide open course that wasn't super challenging. It was more enjoyable than the more-exposed park course in Wenatchee. I'd be nervous about playing hole 8 if a baseball game was in session. Ultimately, you'll need to keep your eye out for other park users.

I'm surprised the Wenatchee community doesn't have a larger disc golf presence with more courses. The two city-park courses seem like great on-ramps for citizens to get exposed to the sport. A more challenging, intermediate, dedicated course would be the next step. For now, playing the two courses as a full 18, with a travel intermission, will have to do.

This is a well maintained park. The baskets are nice, the mats aren't anything to write home about but overall it's very well kept.
*Not busy at all. You don't have to worry about hitting people.
*An good variety of shots are needed off the tee. They have a few baskets hiding behind trees.
*Although there are trees in the park there's not too many. Just enough to force to to shape shots but not too difficult to avoid.
*No underbrush so unless you get a disc stuck in a tree, you aren't going to lose any discs.

*No signage what-so-ever.
*No scorecards (everything is a 3 par BTW).
*Not very difficult
*Uneven rubber tee pads

This course is great for the new disc golfer to an intermediate looking to hone his/her skills. It's not very long for the experienced player. It does have a few ace run holes for everyone.
I thought there were the perfect amount of trees. There were definite gaps you need to hit and you can't let the disc get too high on most of the holes.
This course wouldn't be worth the drive by itself but if you combine it with Rotary Park and go in with the mindset of working on your mids/approaches you will enjoy your morning.

Tedford Park in East Wenatchee is a mostly flat and lightly wooded nine hole course located in a large grassy park, adjacent to sports fields/courts, playground, and school. Designed in 2011 by Todd Saunders, this course was intended to be the big brother to its sister course Rotary Park just a few miles away.

This course on average is longer and more difficult, adding variety with its use of natural obstacles. Multiple baskets are tucked behind or near trees making putts more difficult at times if misjudged off the tee. Holes range from 179-367 feet, with the use of rubber mats and Mach V baskets. Course is well manicured and litter free.

Favorite Hole(s): Hole #3 - Blind 263' shot that drops in elevation slightly with a pin positioned under a long hanging tree near the road. The hole has a few larger trees in the fairway and is easily approachable with a mid, but throwing a roller is the way to go!

During baseball season it appears the baseball fence comes up, along with garbage cans and picnic benches making DG a bit more congested and most likely overcrowded due to the warmer weather. However, it says something about the course design that it allows to be played all season long!

Bathrooms are located in the middle of the course and when open is a huge bonus. Unfortunately, it closes sometime in the fall through the winter during the colder seasons. Seems a little early in my opinion but is understandable.

My wife and son came with me to play both courses in Wenatchee on a mini side trip while visiting Leavenworth for the weekend and it was well worth my time. Although neither may have been worth it by itself, they were worth playing together to make an afternoon out of it. They were both fun recreational/intermediate style courses that allowed for several ace runs and "roller" type approaches. Both courses allowed me to play a relaxed style game with little to no worries regarding location, course navigation, or difficulty for a toddler. The park system in Wenatchee does a stellar job with the room they have and their efforts, along with that of the local club/designers, is much appreciated by the community and those who are traveling from out of town. Thank you!

It's just a pretty little, neighborhood park with a lush, green carpet of grass. There is just a touch of elevation and a smattering of mature trees. The DGA baskets (complete with the red numbers, which are facing the teepads by the way) are stragegically occasionally hidden, peek-a-boo style behind the before mentioned mature trees or in the case of # 3 just peeking up from over a small hill.
The tee pads are rubber and are secured very well. They're nicely level and they're more than long enough for this mostly recreational length course. The mature trees would provide some welcome relief from the central Washington sun and heat here in the summer.

Some fun little ACE runs here such as # 2 and it's 179' basket hidden behind a tree. # 4, 195' slight uphill also behind a tree and # 7 and it's 211' shot to the corner which is also tucked in (surprise!) behind a tree.

Some simple signage would go a long way here. How about screwing in a simple house number on one of the front bricks that outline each of the teepads? Even without signs, the flow of the course is fairly intuitive. Even a dunce like me figured it out quite easily the first time through.
This course will not thrill/challenge the advanced/Pro players. There's just not enough challenge here.

Like sillybizz says, this is not a course for the serious player. But I contend, that, it is a wonderful recreational course for everyone else. It's enjoyable. It's very well designed for the physical environment they had to work with. There's just enough of a challenge to keep most players coming back. And face it, there's not a lot of competition from other courses around here.
My one suggestion to slightly change things up....Alternate playing #6 and #8 holes from each other's tee pads. It gives you just a slightly different look off the pad for both of those holes.

Nice easy course with lots of shade. Lots of other activities happen here. Monday in the late afternoon there was baseball practice going on, a youth cheerleading squad and a youth soccer practice as well. Hole one was unplayable from the tee due to children playing soccer.

This course is on green grass and plays around a baseball field on green grass that is seldom used by people playing fetch with their dogs. The course starts out in a small parking area in the far of the park on 2nd avenue and plays towards the main street. You start with an open hyzer hole. The course gets a little better with a couple of fun low ceiling throws and up and around the small rolling hill even throwing around the bathrooms located in the middle of the park and the fairway for a couple of holes. This is a great little course for stopping by and throwing some rollers or breaking out the putter and having some fun.

Even though there are some fun throws here I imagine this course is busy all the time. I was here early in the afternoon on a Monday and had two people throwing the ball to their dogs and then some kids playing red rover (couldn't believe they still played that game!) right in the middle of the fairway.

Nothing fancy or new and the serious players won't flock here which is probably a good thing. Just a short green grass course with nice baskets that you can play with bare feet if you wanted. Look out for other park users as I said before.
