Pros:
*Stunningly Beautiful Location: Ecuadorian Andes Mountains. The highest Disc Golf course in the world. (Hole 5 approx.10,750 feet above sea level)
*Altitude and wind are factors always to be figured in for every throw including putts. (keeps the player sharp}
Cons:
Although there is a course map there are no well marked tee pads, so one is kind of left guessing. There were some dug out areas to what looks like
tee pads/ pavers could be placed.
Other Thoughts:
This course is a lodge course owned and maintained by the Black Sheep Inn for its guests and disc golf isn't well known in Ecuador. As the sport grows I'm sure more people will want to play this course.
The lodge is amazing and the staff is delightful.
*High altitude makes under-stable discs behave stable. I lost a 175 star Mamba on hole 8 tee shot due to high altitude and wind. Went OB off a cliff, off the course.
Speaking and understanding Spanish isn't required but it helps.
