Fun and has potential drive by

Pros:

Easy enough for beginners yet still fun for those with more experience.

New concrete tee pads recently installed.

By Colorado standards, this course brings trees somewhat into play. Not a wooded course by any means but compared to other courses in the area there are some trees in play.

Cons:

Course can be pretty crowded and backups are common. Because of the fun factor and the fact that it is currently a nine hole course it always seems to be crowded.

No tee signs indicating hole distance but really not a huge deal since all baskets can be seen from the tees.

A downed tree in the fairway of hole nine presents an obstacle not originally in the course design. The tree fell down several weeks ago and has not been removed.

Originally, the tee pads were horrible and would have been a negative but the recent addition of concrete pads has resolved this issue.

Other Thoughts:

For a shorter, nine hole course this is really a fun layout for just about anyone. If your game is just ripping shots full power as far as you can you may not enjoy it but if you like shaping shots and powering down a bit this course might be for you.

Plans are underway for adding nine additional holes and I ran into the course designer while he was planning additional pin positions. Once these changes are implemented and if they install decent tee signs this will definitely be one of the better courses along the front range in Colorado.

Well designed 9 hole course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 13, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good use of the land, so although the terrain isn't great, they made good use of trees and natural obstacles.
The baskets are great, the signs are well done and there are arrows inside each basket pointing to the next hole.

Cons:

The tees are currently crushed concrete, so beware of turning an ankle.
There is a walking path thru the course, so watch for pedestrians.
There are no long holes, so don't expect to come out and sling bomber drives.

Other Thoughts:

The course may be new, but there were quite a few groups, so the word is out on this course.
The sign upon arrival says "Temporary Course Ahead", so not sure what that is about.
Hole 1 is straight ahead over the bridge, don't stop on the right as that is hole 3.
