Well placed. Challenging. Well maintained. Most have alternate tees or pins. Well marked. You can't go wrong. Picnic tables. Trash cans every other hole. Plenty of parking.

No long holes. No elevation change, but how could there be in Florida.

Bring a towel. The dew last long. The pin at 10 is closest to restroom with water.

1) Tee posts have Hole and distances listed including all basket locations in the distances . . . no map is available of the hole but at least it helps as a directional.

2) Garbage cans available in a few places on the course as well as benches for sitting.

3) More diverse property from the original design on this property . . . water was brought into play, some more open grass holes were brought into play, and a variance in the foliage type as opposed to just tunnel type shots through palms and smaller trees, the new property takes you into a very mature portion of the woods on this course.

4) Tight wooded holes obviously mean a high level of challenge .. . and wooded is more fun than wide open. Beginners won't like it but I am no beginner anymore. I always would prefer being challenged over bored. I love this type of course because it absolutely puts a premium on placement. You can risk the driver up the middle attempting to park the hole . . .but a midrange 50' shorter might be the best play.

5) Excellent variety on this course . . . even moreso than the original design. There is tight woods, moderately wooded, and fairly open holes.

6) Excellent variety in shots needed on this course. While most holes are tight and challenging, there is a good variety of shots needed to score well here.

7) Distance variation was moderately acceptable. While there are only a couple of true placement holes that become par 4's . . .you do still need to plan on what disc you feel most comfortable with.

8) No shortage of challenge on this course. Bring you're a game and try to stay on the fairway or you will be punished. With 12 holes in the 200-300' range I would expect some birdie chances, but this round I didn't make any birdies. I putted pretty well so that means the drives are really challenging.

9) Nice concrete teepads are always welcome . . . they may get sandy from time to time but I'd rather that than throw from the dirt.

10) Water in play on a few holes (and a couple of areas that look like there would be water during the rainy period.

11) Baskets are in good condition and they have the number late in yellow which helps make them more visible.

12) Good directionals to help you get between holes. They are consistently made so it is easier to find and follow them.

13) This is an active park, baseball fields, sidewalks for a nice stroll, Veteran's Memorial, and bathrooms located somewhere on site. I didn't personally see them but others have listed them as available.

1) Very long walk from #18 back to where you would park to walk to #1. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. I guess it gives you time to ponder lost shots.

2) This course is far from being beginner friendly because it is so tightly routed through the woods.

3) Very confusing course . . . some holes have multiple tees . . . and some have multiple baskets (and by multiple I mean multiple INSTALLED baskets). You could play any number of different holes on this course which is kindof out of the ordinary.

4) Lacking tee signs . . . which would really help the flow and the first time through the course. Distance and hole # are present but that doesn't help the shot execution.

5) I normally am not a fan of artificial mandos . . . but hole #1 needs one. I saw the gap out to the right of the trees but didn't feel it was fair for me to toss out a big hyzer and skip the dogleg in the fairway. I instead chose to try and thread the needle with an S curve as the hole seemed to be designed.

6) Relatively flat course but there are small undulations and mounds that come into play, but nothing that I would call elevation change, just simple grade changes.

7) This course still have that punishing Florida touch which can irritate me . . . I am not sure if it is because it is challenging and very punishing when you get off the fairway, but the tightness along with no way to escape some bad throws gets a little frustrating hole after hole.

8) Kiosk and First Tee sign is needed because there is no easy way to spot the beginning of the course. You are much more likely to see one of the later holes before #1 and it is so far removed from #1 you might get confused.

I definitely feel like the re-design has improved this course overall . . .the variety improved and the challenge seemed to be more fair and consistent . I enjoyed this new course much more than the last design . . . but they both are/were solid designs. This course just simply has better design and variety. It's a shame this course is so far removed from other courses otherwise I would look to this area as a small disc golf destination. I know the pros to cons make this look like a bad course, but in my opinion the positives far outweigh the cons here. This is a solid course with constant challenge and I would be happy to play this course most days.

I'd say this course is between a 4.0 and 4.5. There is a practice basket and the only thing really holding this course back is the signage. I ran into two locals and played with them, otherwise is would have been a long day trying to fine out where the baskets were. Other than that I thought it was a great course with a lot of well designed holes. Water came into play a little bit and made things interest.

Make sure you throw some brightly colored plastic, spend a good bit of time looking for another guys black disc in the all the shadowy brush. Even the bright discs were tough to fine sometimes.

Had a great time playing this course, heard there was a tournament there a week or two before, wish I had known, I'll be back to play this one anytime I'm in SW Florida.

-Tee areas: Wooden Posts with Distance, direction, and a hole #. Concrete Tees, Garbage Cans and a few benches. No map as of yet.

-Great pin placement. The hole layouts are well designed.

-Short and long tee's, multiple baskets on some holes.

-Everyone that I have met here has been extremely nice and friendly. Some have even gone out of their way to come over and introduce themselves. Very cool!

-Signs in the park directing one to the Disc Golf course.

-Great fun factor. This is a course that is beginner friendly, and yet can still be enjoyed by all skill levels. It will challenge a good player to really work with smaller discs.

-It's a wooded strategy course. The fairways are fairly wide (for a wooded course) and the brush is sparse enough that losing a disc is a lower risk. (Keyword:Lower) *Getting a disc stuck in a tree is common here.

-Though there isn't a map, there are plenty of directional signs to find your way through the course. For the most part the course is laid out like a pathway through the woods. The course has a good flow to it. I did have to walk up to see where the basket was on a few fairways. If you can, hook up with a local. This is a busy course, so finding someone shouldn't be too difficult.

-It does play 18 straight through and the course ends on the opposite side of the parking lot. So I tend to opt for parking in the middle of the lot. It's a little a bit of a walk to the start and from the last basket, but it's not too bad.

-The new water hazards add a nice challenge on holes 14-16. The short tee's offer a lower risk, while one can opt for the longer tee's and increased water carries.

-The distances are fair to long for a wooded course. They average from 250-325ft for the shorts, with the longs having shots just under 400ft. You will find specific lines that you will need to throw, in order to work your way through trees and around corners. It's challenging, but not terribly difficult. The tree canopy requires you to keep it low.

-For the most part, the course is separate from the rest of the park and doesn't play near common areas. (See cons listed below)

-For what it's worth: There are baseball and soccer fields, a concession stand (seasonal) and bathrooms nearby.

-Navigation here is really good, but locating hole #1 and a couple of the other tee's can be tricky. (First time issue) If you are in the parking lot looking at the new baseball field, you will follow the path that runs to the left of the new field near the visitor's dugout.

-Though the course is segregated, for the most part, some events might find some stragglers roaming around near some of the baskets and teepads.
*During Baseball season, people and children could find themselves wandering in and out of the course.
**Does play near a Veterans memorial on 16. Veteran events aren't all that common, but when they are held it's best to just skip #15 and #16. ...trust me on this!

-I've been told this place can have a bug issue in the summertime. (I just moved here in November) So throw some repellent in the bag.

-This is just for the mention, not a slight. The elevation changes are minimal. For the most part, the course is flat. This is just part of being in a coastal area. It is what it is.

I am really enjoying the new layout, and I'm glad to call this my new home course! It's fun and challenging! There is a strategy to this course, and it can be frustrating to a first timer. It's not uncommon to have a great drive deflected by a tree, or a branch that is hanging down low. Therein lies the challenge and it will cause you to think before you drive. I tend to favor playing with my mids versus going for a distance driver. Some of the holes will bait you into a little over-confidence. It is wide enough that you have a couple of options for your line, but control and accuracy is the key. Whether your RH or LH, keeping the disc in the fairway is the trick.

A couple of holes plays alongside a ballfield, so watch for Home Run balls. (They don't yell Fore in Baseball, so heads up!) It can get muddy here, but normal Tennis shoes should be okay footwear here. Be mindful though, you can wear shorts, but the underbrush can tear up your legs. Also, I had a brush with tree ants. I got covered by them while retrieving a disc! Yes, they bite! There weren't any immediate places to eat nearby, but you'll pass plenty of Gas stations and restaurants on the way to the course. If you are in the area, or driving along 75, this is a great course to take in. NCRP compliments the neighboring courses in the area quite nicely. If you are doing a roadtrip, it's a ways from I-75, but it's well worth the drive. You'll meet a lot of super nice people here, and you'll have a great time!

Time for an update on my old review:

Hole #1- Some trees have been cut. You can throw straight at the basket. You can throw the hyzer route or you can through the anhyzer route. Lots of choices since the lanes have been opened up.

Hole #2-Some trees have been cut. The hole is still tough but there are routes through the trees now.

Hole #3-Still easy

Hole #4-The signature "Stonehenge" hole, left over from the old course. Still awesome. There is an added basket off to the left (Hole #4A).

Hole #5-The old Hole #7. Straight shot, the tree is still in the middle. Tough and long straight shot. Still one of my favorite holes...when I get done cussing it out.

Hole #6-Very tough slight anhyzer or tomahawk shot. Also has a long position basket (Hole #6A).

Hole #7-Has three tee pads (7A, 7B). #7 is a straight shot with a right turn at the end of the long fairway. Beginner shot not too hard. #7A is rather unkempt but is the usual hyzer route or for the adventurous...a tomahawk which is an easy way to lose a disc. #7B is to the left of the #7 teepad and it is just a left turn onto the regular #7 fairway. Not really that hard just a lot longer of a shot. You will cross the #7A pad first so check to see which one you want to throw from.

Hole #8-is the old hole #8. Straight shot to the basket with trees in the way on the right side of the fairway. Don't go too far right, it's a jungle out there. If you do get off the fairway, make sure it is left. Hole #8A is further back into the trees and real hard to par.

Hole #9-is the old Hole #9. Short and easy. Hole #9A is hard. Teepad is 30 feet behind the short pad and the basket is 30 feet past the short basket. Has an anhyzer feel to it. You can switch up the game a bit here by mixing up the tees and baskets.

Hole #10-is the old hole #10 but with an added basket (10A). Same teepad that goes along the canal to the same short position basket. Tree is still in the middle of the fairway, though I should have chopped it down as many times as I have hit it. #10A is 30 feet back and 50 feet to the left, tucked into the trees.

Hole #11-they just added a new basket (#11A). #11 is a great big anhyzer that you throw over centerfield of the ball diamond. You can't see the bastket from the tee. Basket sits in the open but there are plenty of trees to the right. Go long if you have to mess it up. Jungle on right eats discs for breakfast. The new #11A is staight ahead from the tee and is tucked tightly into the bushes.

Hole #12-another big right turn and basket is in the open. #12A is a separate teepad that throws to the same basket. Just a straight shot with a turn to the left at the end.

Hole #13-one of two holes where you can use the big arm. Throw it straight and let the fade turn the disc for you. One of my favorite holes. The landing area is narrow with woods on one side and a canal on the other. Try to keep it out from the woods so you can get a shot at the basket for your second shot. Basket is out in the open area and the wind might move the disc around once it hits the open air. #11A is a long teepad that is a straight shot to the basket with a slight left fade at the end. Not a hard shot but very long coming into the same narrow landing area.

Hole #14-air it out on this hole. Straight ahead shot to the basket with a pond on the left and a canal on the right. Not hard just long and it's out in the open.

Hole #15-Straight shot down to the basket. A jungle on the right and pond on the left. One of the easiest birdies on the course. #15A is a teepad where you can throw over the pond or use a hyzer fade. Throw it straight and let the fade take around the edge of the pond. The better players just throw putters over the pond and land 10 feet from the basket.

Hole #16-where all the activities are. This is the meet up spot on the course. There are two teepads and two baskets. The short pad and basket is 230 feet. The long pad and basket are well over 300 feet. The long hole throws over water most of the way. It is 300 feet to clear the pond while the short hole is all dry.

Hole #17-has a low canopy and goes in between widely spaced trees. Play this hole with players who have cannons for arms. The low canopy will slow their arm down. #17A is a long straight shot that the big arms love. Nothing hard about it, just long.

Hole #18-is a big hyzer hole. You can hyzer too much and hit the trees high up. The hole quickly tightens down around the big left turn. Cool hole.

Not too many but I do have a few safety concerns:

1. With the tree cutting on hole #1, the #2 teepad is dangerous. A little fade at the end of your drive might hit someone teeing off on hole #2.

2. #11 makes you throw a large anhyzer that will go over the ball diamond. Might have issues when people are playing.

3. #13 teepad is too close to the landing area for drives on #12. There are some trees for protection but not that many.

4. Long teepad on #15. Drives going way left on #14 might end up knocking you out.

5. Hole #1 still needs a sign saying "This way to Hole #1."

Some of the ideas listed here have been used:

1. Kiosk now stands at Hole #16. Posted are league times and any tourney info.

2. A large, well made map of the park that shows the disc golf course holes. It also have the distances marked too. Nice job, well done.

3. Someone has made bag holders and put them in the ground. Not on every hole but they are a nice addition.

4. Jonny Rotten has added some homemade benches. Nice job, thanks.

This is my home course, I play two rounds here everyday.

Very nice diversity with multiple tees and pins on about 75% of the holes!

Quality baskets on the redesign, no make-shifters.

The first 2 holes are still in need of some tree chopping/trimming. The baskets could either be moved closer or the fairways modified to make them reachable in 1-2 shots. As of Nov. 2011 this is not the case.

Tees could use maps.

Moderately wooded on the larger half of holes with gorgeous open shots on the rest.
