Beautiful Course Layout 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 3, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

The disc golf course is located inside a Christian camp. The people there are very welcoming and take you through a short orientation. The course itself is unique and fun to play on. All in all, this course is the most beautiful and well planed out course I have ever played on.

Cons:

It's only has 9 holes, however if all goes well they say they have the blueprints to put 9 more.

Other Thoughts:

This is the 1st professional disc golf course in the Dominican Republic. #GrowtheSport

Fun Disc Golf Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 27, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is the only place in Dominican Republic to play disc golf. The people running the camp are super nice and will help any way possible. Gave us a good breakfast for $5.
Pins are in good condition.
Grass is obviously kept in great condition.
They had an escape, truth, and judge to offer to players who didn't have their own discs.
They offered a Pro and Am tee box to offer more diversity.

Cons:

You do have to go through a short orientation program to start playing, but once you are through you can play as many times as you want.
Wish that there was a couple of wooded shots but the camp used the obstacles they had.
Most of the people at the camp speak Spanish but thats to be expected since its in the Dominican Republic.
Most of the holes are natural tee boxes except for one where they built some stairs and a concrete tee box to have a pretty big elevated hole.

Other Thoughts:

You have to make an appointment through their Facebook page to play the course, otherwise they will not allow you on the property.
It has a couple of water holes and the possibility to throw over a fence. Once your disc is in either one of those places it will be hard to retrieve it. The camp, says that if the discs has a name and number they will try and retrieve it and ship it to the desired location.
The camp was also working on installing some rubber mat tee boxes and signs. Hopefully they will get that installed at some point.
