Flat, long 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Well maintained, clean course.

Cons:

Fairly boring course to play. I played two rounds there in one day and by the second many of the holes were blurring together. Almost all the holes are very flat. Most of the holes are pretty open and not that challenging. Of the wooded holes, one lacks any clear lanes and the other two are just narrow straight-aways. Also, poor teepads (or lack thereof); all they have is gravel, which has been worn down to uneven pits.

Other Thoughts:

Could do with better signage on how to get from hole to hole.

Almost New Jersey 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 19, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice course! Parking is right in the middle and both "nines" circle back. Signage is fair (see cons). Course opens with some shorter open throws across meadows. Front nine has a mix of wooded areas and meadows/fields. Hole 18 is fantasticly super long. The only "all you have" power throw of the day. Play conservatively and you will play par golf all day.

Cons:

Deep grass meadows will eat a disc if you get wild on a throw. Signage to the next pin is on the Tbox sign, would be super helpful if an arrow pointed the way to the next T at the pin, can be frustrating. #10 T box needs to be clearly marked. Several T boxes need to be fixed, large holes make for an ackward "x" step approach. The back nine several of the last few fairways run parallel to each other, feel like you are playing the same hole backwards again and again.

Other Thoughts:

Overall, this is a nice course. Meadows are extremely hot and humid to play in, bring lots of water and sun block. Had a fun day...just took some time getting there. Seriously, this course is almost in NJ.
