Great 9 hole 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 1, 2021 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This is a solid 9 hole course that offers some unique shots and then lets you rip it at the end. The front 4 are perfectly wooded holes with clear routes but also several chances to mess up.

#2 is a challenging fun hole alongside the road.
#3 is long but has trees so you have to have precision.
#4 splits two trees directly in front of the tee box. Cool nerve wracking hole, especially if you attempt to split them.

5-9 play on the other side of the church and require a small walk.
#5 requires a low shot. If cars are in the parking lot or may eliminate a route to the left.
#6 lets you rip it, but the basket is alongside a hill and positioning is important so you do not miss a putt and see it roll down the hill.
#7 is OK
#8 is the closest thing to an ace run, however they elevated the basket, so that makes a simple hole...a little more challenging.
#9 is a dream hole for long chuckers. Par 4 with nothing initially in the way. Worth unloading the bag on.

Cons:

#1 is really the only short hole that you have to birdie on.

Other Thoughts:

Each hole has a Bible verse at the tee box. It's a nice little touch and reminds you that you are àt the church grounds.

The first 4 have great shade

Pros:

Nice course close to Rock Hill, very quiet, never crowded. Very easy to play for beginners. People are friendly no problems playing anytime of day there.

Cons:

Really have to look around to find the tee boxes, could use some maint but it's not played alot. No extremely challenging but very family friendly

Other Thoughts:

Great course that's close by to Lake Wylie area!

nice suprise 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 26, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

really nice 9 hole course about 10 minutes from rock hill. all brand new burgandy disccatchers, pave stone tee-pads. not crowded with good use of trees on the first 4 holes. the last 5 holes are open with the last one being at least 400ft. for a 9 hole course i was happy to see it play like a regular course as far as distance goes.

Cons:

the layout surronds a cemetary, which is kinda creepy, but not really a con

Other Thoughts:

if you want to throw a quick 9 and use your driver on a few holes, this is the course rather than fewell park. i was suprised to see nice baskets with two sets of chains, and a raised basket. the tee-pads were nice to see as well. i liked this course check it out
