Pros:
Tee pads for every hole, some with pro/am pads.
A few two shot holes
Decent use of the land, course was mostly easy to follow.
Cons:
Course is known for holding water.
Mix mash of baskets, some old, some new.
Other Thoughts:
I never got to play this course before a hurricane destroyed the park. I can only imagine how much damage there was.
Well the course is back in the ground and playable. 21 holes with a good mix of long and short holes.
My only issue was the wet ground. it was pretty soggy, I would not try to play here after a good rain, that is for sure. I had heard about it but didn't think it would be that bad. Several of the holes in the heavy tree area were just a soggy mess. Waterproof shoes are a must.
In general, this is your basic mostly open park type of course. Most of the holes are pretty open. There is a small creek that comes into play on a few of the holes, but it is more of a drainage ditch than a creek.
Would I play here again? Well, the course isn't bad, the conditions were. I would like to play it again when it is dry. But I am not going to go out of my way to do it.
