Pros:
Fair lines, fair pin placements
Accurate tee signs with map, distance and par.
Next tee arrows on the baskets.
Sweet Dynamic Veteran baskets.
Fun shots that require a little shape to get to the pin.
Easy walking no real terrain issues here.
Mostly open shots, but a couple of lightly wooded holes.
Fairly easy to navigate once you find the first tee.
Tee boxes
Cons:
A little bit confusing finding the first tee.
No seating
Tee boxes are filled with wood chip mulch.
Not too much shade here.
Where to park is a little confusing as well.
Other Thoughts:
Umass Dartmouth DGC gives you some challenging shots over the course of nine holes. The lines don't get very tight, as you play mainly open field shots, that will require a little shape to hit the fairways and greens. Once you figure out where to park and begin your round, the navigation is pretty easy from there. There is some distance between a few of the holes, but it's an easy stroll. The course seems like it gets a good amount of maintenance, and the sections with some taller grass didn't bother me, as it was easy to find discs and make approach shots. There seems to be a good amount of space for a back nine, or maybe even more. Making this a full 18 would really step up the replay factor here, but I totally enjoyed the nine hole loop and would definitely play it again.
