Pros:
+ Friendly atmosphere around clubhouse .
+ Show up ,donate, and throw. It's just that easy.
+ Course maps located in club house.
+ Very impressive Prodigy baskets. First time I have experienced them. Prodigy baskets are first class catchers.
+ Much elevation changes on front nine.
+ Beautiful mature trees scatter the course.
+ Water comes into play on 4 holes. I pack at least 2 water discs.
+ 4 or 5 bomber holes to let the big dog eat.
+ Adjacent 9 hole mini course allows for warm up or even bomb city safari.
+ Easy access off of Interstate if passing through.
+ Bathroom on site.
Cons:
- Course maintenance was lacking on some holes. Turf was half manicured and half shaggy.
- Course navigation can be confusing but the course map will get you to the right spots.
Other Thoughts:
This is a great piece of ground. Many beautiful fairways to watch your disc fly. The atmosphere around the club house was that of fun. Playing on a Monday morning we were the only players on the course and this helped make for a enjoyable inaugural round. However, relying on donations to maintain a piece of ground this large will be a big endeavor for this course going foward. If your in the area I suggest checking it out. One day this course may become a very high rated course. It has that much potential.
