Pros:

Maybe the best designed course in Memphis - utilizes elevation change well as well as the natural OB (water, culverts, etc.). It is a challenging course for even the best players in Memphis, while still being playable for newer players (maybe skip the waters holes though). One of the best uses of water holes I have seen - open to attack but with bail-out zones if you want to play safe and not mess with it. Every hole now has a tee sign and the course flows very well. While most of the tee pads are natural, they are well placed to where this is never really an issue. This course is incredibly well maintained by MAM and the property is gorgeous. The little 9-hole "course" on the property also is a great field to warm up on.

Cons:

In one of the worst areas of Memphis - although the course itself is fenced in and usually patrolled by some manner of security during business hours. I HATE PRODIGY BASKETS. They miraculously catch a lot of (bad) putts let and right, but the number of dead center spits outs you see on these is nuts - that said, the baskets still look brand new and a well kept. Most of the mandos make sense and are for safety reasons but a couple are a bit gimicky and could be removed. I suppose that the water is a bit of a disc-loss hazard (dont go swimming - there are leeches), if that is a major concern, it is easy to play around. Also, there is a local who dives the lakes for discs fairly frequently who returns all discs with a number on them, so thats nice. A donation is expected here - but I would say the course is well worth it.

Other Thoughts:

One of my favorite courses in Memphis. A must play for visitors. The only course is the area that competes with it is Bud Hill. I can't of another course which is maintained quite this well for the entire year. Also, while there technically is a 9-hole ball golf course and a foot golf course that plays across the fairways of the disc golf course (and could potentially be a safety hazard), I've played this course over 20 times and have seen ball golfers only 2 or 3 times.

Surprisingly good and challenging course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 10, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Very challenging elevation changes (especially given the fact that it is in Memphis).
Very good footing
Course incredibly well-maintained (maybe 2 areas of deep rough in entire course) including the tees.
Good variety of pin-tee configurations.

Cons:

No obvious tee markers (they are usually marked with orange flags, but no numbers).
The water holes are hungry.

Other Thoughts:

They recently reset the pin and tee locations for several holes, eliminating a water hole and making the course much more streamlined.
