Pros:
* Lots and lots of elevation changes.
* Well designed. Very challenging, even for advanced players. Requires a variety of shots. Has well placed OB lines. Starts and ends at the parking lot.
* 6 is a pretty epic hole. Has you throw down a hill about 24m (~79ft) in a gorgeous pine forest.
* Very resistant to weather. It's hilly and elevated, so there's no mud and things don't stay drenched for very long after rain.
* Signs are clear and easy to follow. Ob is well marked. Tees are slightly worn, but in good condition.
* Requires very little mowing and it's done pretty often. There are trash bins and benches near most tees. Well maintained overall.
Cons:
* The course is shared with mountain bikers and runners. This is mostly handled well, but on hole 3, a runner or a biker can just appear in front of your drive with no warning.
* Holes 15, 17 and 18 feel a bit tacked on. Decent holes, but not as great as the first 14. 16 is a good hole in that it's the only open field one, but it crosses the road that leads to the parking lot.
* Foliage is pretty thick around some fairways, so missing a shot can mean a bit of a search.
Other Thoughts:
* Restroom near the parking lot.
* Can be played as a 13 hole course, if you're short on time.
* There's a practice basket at the beginning of the course.
