Could be better 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 19, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

So the pro's are amazing. Beautiful location, amazing views, ski lift ride and beer and food at the base lodge. But unfortunately for me, I expect a higher level of course for 10$.

Cons:

Honestly being only 9 holes was not the end of the world for me, but it does keep if from being a destination course. You play because its here. I also thought it did not use the terrain very well. I do understand it is on protected land so they cant just cut anywhere, but I found the long down hills, followed by straight up hills tedious. There really is no signature (or even vaguely memorable) hole. Tees are natural, and again thats OK, but did not like the "poles" that marked them and signage to next hole was weak. And is the case with any open course, tall grass was an issue in a few places.

Other Thoughts:

All and all it could just be better. Sunapee is a much better course for the same money.

Scenic 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 22, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Innova Discatcher baskets.
Good signs.
Scenic Pinkham Notch New Hampshire location.
Awesome views of the Presidential Range and Mount Washington.
Decent mix of left to right and vice versa.

Cons:

With the drastic elevations on certain holes it can be easy to find the sides of the fairways. If you do, your disc will be lost 75% of the time. When I went the fairways "ski slopes" were overgrown and discs could take a while to find in the fairway. 9 holes and 2 chairlifts make it a "round". There seemed to be a lot of snakes out when I played.

Other Thoughts:

This is NOT a disc golf destination. It's more of an add on to drum up summer business from the tourists. I played while my family took a bus ride up Mount Washington. As an avid hiker, I was very against doing such a thing so I played Wildcat instead. After seeing how Mount Sunapee Resort utilized it's ski terrain for a disc golf course I'm inclined to rate this a 2. I wont play here again unless it was by circumstances out of my control
