Pros:
-Excellent Baskets
-Quick Play
-Tee markers are OK
Cons:
-You're basically teeing basket to basket
-Very flat
-One marshy area to work around (#2)
-Some equipment to work around (#6 and #7)
-#9 leaves you in the middle of the field
Other Thoughts:
Wilton HS is a nice little 9er set around a high school baseball field. There was a fair amount of area to work with, so it's not terribly crammed, but at just over 2500', not a long course. The course starts near the left field corner of the ballfield. I parked near here and it worked out fine. #9 does end in the middle of the field, so there is a bit of a walk back. Baskets are top notch. Tees are marked with a small slab of concrete with the # and distance on each along with 2 arrows pointing you in the right direction. I agree with wolfhaley that these would be a little better just a few more feet from the previous basket. Terrain is flat. Only bubble is a marshy area on #2. There are a couple of equipment pieces in your line on both #6 and #7. I would have liked to see full concrete pads, maybe a layout that stayed away from the equipment and finished a little closer to the start. Nitpicky little things, but overall a well done course for the space. I would play often if it was closer. A bit out of there for me, but would enjoy a round again if in the area.
