Pros:

-Xerox Corporation no longer owns this corporate park (now called Parkway Woods), but still leases a portion of it. The new ownership closed the course during an exterior renovation and parking lot expansion; the new parking lots occupy a large portion of the old layout. A new layout has been thrown together, but unfortunately not up to the standard of the original one.

-The layout is more logical than before, making a clockwise loop through the greenspace of the corporate park with hole 9 returning to hole 1. However, the holes are now closer together and not as interesting.

-The course features a mixture of shorter, tighter shots and longer, open shots (holes 4-7). There is also ample opportunity for safari holes.

Cons:

-Tees are natural and marked by a single piece of wood embedded in the ground. With no signage, they are hard to locate. I couldn't find a marked tee on two holes.

-Holes 2, 4, 5, 8, and 9 all now play very close to parking lots and/or roads, creating a safety issue on workdays. The course is flat and does not have any stand-out holes.

Other Thoughts:

-If you live or work nearby, it's a nice lunchtime/evening practice area, but not much more. Hopefully plans are in place to improve the course.

Pros:

Xerox DGC is a fun little 9 hole course located in Willsonville, Oregon. This is the new layout after the renovation of their campus and it offers some variety of open to lightly wooded holes. Every hole on the new layout is different except for hole 1, although some of the pin locations are still the same.

They made better use of the space in the campus the second time around. The new layout offers players longer shots, and a few technical ones as well. Terrain/Elevation Change: Not really any to be honest. Pretty flat throughout the course.

Another plus, is that hole 9 ends near the parking lot, and #1 starts near the parking lot. #9 on the old layout ended about 1/4 of a mile away from the parking lot. There are a few holes that range from 300 - 400 feet. It's nice to see a variety of different lengths of holes on a 9 hole course.

Last time I played the old layout, it wasn't in as good of shape. It seems they made some improvements this time around and cleaned some areas up. They definitely have a good piece of land to put a course on, and I'm glad they utilized more of it for the course.

Cons:

Unfortunately the tee pads are natural. Hole 1s tee pad is very uneven. Each tee pad is marked with a piece of wood and a little orange or pink flag in the ground that is a bit hard to see from far away. I threw together a little map in case you can't find your way to the next hole.

The old layout included fiberglass tee signs with stickers which was nothing to complain about. This time around it seems they haven't put them in yet or aren't planning on it.

Mach II baskets do the job but in my opinion aren't typically the best. To me, Mach II's just seem kind of small compared something like Discatchers or Mach X's. I got some pretty nasty spit outs while playing. The open field gets very swampy for holes 4, 5, 6 and 7 in the winter.

Other Thoughts:

If the hardware on this course was upgraded I would definitely bump my rating up a little. But besides that, I enjoyed getting to play a new layout on a course I had played 5+ times in the past. A lot of the holes are an improvement from the previous layout and overall it was a pretty enjoyable round.

Played this course on the weekend and I'm not sure if it's open to the public on weekdays. Memorial Park is also a great 9 hole course located just a short drive away that I recommend stopping at. It's a bit shorter 9 hole course and still worth checking out.
