I love my GL River and recently got a flow, but haven't tried it out yet.

I driver primarily RHFH.

Anyone dig the Vision? Only a couple of threads about it and they date back to February.

Thanks

If you have super clean form, and can put a serious hyzer on it, it would probably be OK. My buddy uses a JLS that is beat for his FH turnover disc. A Vision could probably be good at that too. I couldn't do it, but a good FH player could.

I throw my Opto Vision sidearm sometimes but it is a maniac and hard for me to control. It usually hits the ground at such an angle that it rolls as far as I threw it (but in the other direction). I LOVE my Vision as a regular driver. It has become my most thrown disc in my bag.

Its a great disc for a hyzer-flip, its very understable so if your not flipping it you better release it flat and fast or its going look like your throwing a roller!! I love the disc.

I would say a little more understable than a Sidewinder. Mine flies like a lighter Roadrunner.

I do throw mine forehand... to get out of trouble in the woods. I don't overpower it and it will hold a nice anny around the trees and down the fairway.

Backhand it's a sweet hyzer flip to a long anny.

I really like the Vision, but you will have to give it a few practice rounds to get used to it.

FH Vision = Yes.

I just started to re-explore the Vision, and I FH the Vision all the time.
It gets on some interesting lines, though; finishes way left, barely coming back at all.
Last time out I overdrove the basket by 15ft on hole 8, from the long tee. Unusual distance for me but I was happy to get it.

Got two GL Visions as a pair, to try, didn't like it at all.
If anyone's interested in picking up a couple of GL Visions, PM me.

The vision is ridiculously understable. It is the most understable driver ever thrown and I love.

Yes, this.. Love this disc RHBH, would have to agree with the FH sentiment - need flawless form.

This disc is super understable, perfect for those long right turns.

Oddly enough I had the Opto Vision and it was definitely NOT understable. Fairly straight with some fade at the end. Not sure why since the flight numbers would indicate a right turn (RHBH). Ended up selling it so someone else can enjoy it if that's what works for him. Waiting on the Flow from another seller so we'll see how that goes.

So I picked up a GL Vision, 171 I believe. Going out tomorrow to give it a try.

I love my River so much, I dont know if I will want to throw anything else.

Also picked up a GL Havoc, plan to test it out too. Is the Havoc FH friendly?

GAH,stop asking if things are forehand friendly, everything can be forehanded,I can forehand a magic within the right circumstances.

I only know a few peeps that throw the Vision, but not one of them use it FH.
I carry one for big annys/turnovers.
Very understable and can be a bit touchy.

Vision is a great disc. It was the first disc I broke 300 with. I still use it for tailwinds and anhyzer shots. It is good for throwing up steep hills too. The only other disc that compares to it is my 160 champ RR.
