Just curious about the product. Does anyone know much about the product, popularity?

Rather than start a new thread; I just got one of these in the mail today that I bought on eBay for cheap. The rim is shallower than the XD and where the rim meets the flight plate it is contoured like the Anode. I have no idea how it flies but it feels really good. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to test it.

Well, I just got back from a windy day at the practice field and 36 holes using the Legacy. For 27 holes I used it exclusively. It's really good into headwinds and crosswinds. For me it has zero turn even into a stiff headwind. It's very much like a DX Zone but has a bit more glide and distance. It falls between Zone and fresh DX Roc for me in terms of glide and fade.

The shallow rim allows for clean releases at different power levels. I never turned it over once and it was windy, like steady mid teens. The plastic seems a lot like the TM2 my Pure is made of. After 50 throws in the field and more on the course it still is 9/10.

If they break in nicely I can see this mold dominating my mid selection for everything except annys.

Thanks mod for moving this to equipment.

Two months later and I am still really liking this disc. It's lost some of it's LSS but has maintained it's HSS. Now it's flying like my DX Roc but it's way better in the wind and the shallow rim makes for a clean release most throws.

What disc does it feel like? A Roc? Does it have a bead?

Check out the pic links above. It has a bead, but it is super shallow, like me. It feels nothing like a Roc. I just ordered another one from Disc Golf Store for $10.00, free shipping.

Think it will make a good turnover mid when it beats in?

I use my first run power legacy as a utility midrange - brand new it'll hold nearly any line you put on it with surprising glide. It beats into an understable midrange over time (longer time required than DX and Pro). I usually replace it when it gets too understable.

The picture you show is not a first run power legacy. I have a couple of these later runs, they are stiffer and more stable than my first runs. More like Lat 64 core or MVP Axis.

Sadly I am thinking of replacing my first runs with an MVP Tangent. It has the same flight as a new first run power legacy, but I hope will not beat in as quickly.

My buddy has a 1st run, similar stamp, but on the back is molded "Made in China". It is really flat. Mine is stamped 1st run but made in USA, China is lined out. It has a good dome. I assume the Chinese made ones are the 1st, 1st runs.

Got a flat, black, 171g yesterday and gave it many throws today. So straight and less fade than my domey orange one. I dig it way more than my MVP mids, mostly for the grip.
