[Discraft] Discraft version of XD?

As the title suggests I am wondering what you think is the Discraft equivalent to Innova's XD?

Are you looking for shorter putts and feeling in the hand? or off the tee and longer approaches?

As far as physically feeling like an XD I would say a Ringer. Very shallow putter, but in flight it is much more overstable than an XD

As far as flight I would venture to say a Focus or a Magnet, not really sure though.

XD is sort of an inbetween mid and putter. It's been around a really long time I'm not sure Discraft has a comparable counterpart. I would think Meteor, but it's a little faster than the XD.

Nothing from Discraft really. Lat 64 Spike is a tad deeper and a tad slower, but it's the closest to an XD that I've found. The Lightning #2 Upshot is a touch less stable than an XD but also deeper (like the Spike) and large diameter...good disc and the U2 is the durable pro plastic version.

I've got several XDs but the Spike is what I've been carrying for the last year or so. I got it in zero so it would beat in a bit...may try gripline next time around. Great for drives and approaches, and it's a better putting putter than the XD if you like it for that. Very nice disc and I (almost) don't miss my XDs. If Innova ever runs the XD in a durable plastic that has similar glide as the dx, I'll buy a stack of them.

ringer is more overstable than the XD. The XD will hold a turnover line without fading out any(unless it was thrown with the nose way up). The ringer will hold the turnover but will fade.

Do not agree with this. I'm not crazy about mine, but it's a fun lid. I don't find it to be anything like an XD.

I agree, the ace race disc is nothing like an XD.

Don't laugh, but I find a worn in Classic Roc fairly similar. Other than that, I would say the Aero, Anode, Dart, or Spike would be fairly similar but not really the same..

That's because the Roc is an XD with a bead...literally.

Yeah I definitely mixed up Aero and XD when I wrote that, and although I'll still have some disagree with me there I would get more sImilar results from thetwo
