As someone that hot stamps discs regularly I'll chime in(Discgolfwholesale.com)

Laser etched should include horizontal and vertical

The stamp style category labelled "Foil" under which you have silver, gold, etc should be renamed to "Metallic". All foil is foil but not all foil is metallic. There are matte versions of colors like silver/gray and there are also metallic silvers. Basically every type of stamp you have listed comes from a roll of thin Foil(except for Inncolor). There fore the label foil really doesn't classify the metallic properly. We call them Metallic. What you have listed as Matte is fine but you might want to consider what someone recommend as Gloss. These are standard colors but they don't have the "matte finish" which tends to have a "dull" look to it. The glossy ones have some shine to them while not being metallic.

The reflective category might need separation from hologram. There are actual reflective silvers in which you can see your reflection, not just light it picks up.

There is a brown/red chesnut color which I have seen. The shades of colors like blue and red are pretty extensive as well. But I'm not sure if you want to go that far into it

I could list a lot of colors we(DGW) have that I haven't seen on Innova discs. I think Innova just goes with colors that stick well to discs since they stamp a high volume

I don't have pictures but I do hot-stamp discs on a weekly basis. I've done most of these foils firsthand.

This is awesome, thanks for the info. I was confused about the "gloss" category and how (or if) it was different from Matte, but this helps clear it up.

Two questions for you:
  • from what you've seen, do the gloss stamps come in the same colors as the others (black, white, blue, red, orange, green, etc.), or just a select few?
  • when you say reflective silver, wouldn't that be the same as silver metallic foil?

Changes I'll make to the next update:
1. Differentiate horizontal vs. vertical Laser Etched
2. Change the "Foil" category to "Metallic Foil"
3. Add "silver/gray" to the Matte section
4. Add a category for "Gloss"

I don't think there is really a dot stamp like in the throw-in-the-dark picture listed. I am pretty sure that it is a normal rainbow stamp. The dots were used so that the stamp would be able to be printed without producing drop outs. Same thing for the Higher Flyers original stamp. I am pretty sure they just took the normal image and turned it into small dots, I do believe that it is just a normal rainbow stamp used or whatever other color they would use.

which is this? its pretty sick.

Sparkle stamp, in rainbow color? Nice stamp. Looks like I need to add just a straight "rainbow" color next to the Sparkle category.

I agree that the stamp is looks like a standard rainbow color... but the dots are different than just a normal stamp - one has dots, and one doesn't. However they did it, I think it is different enough to be worthy of a separate line in the styles table.
