[Putters] What is your NON-putter disc for putting?

The only times I don't use a normal putter for a putt/approach is when it has to come down steep and there is a big risk for a roll-away, in which case I throw a floppy soft vibram something. This would be a very rare thing except that it's good for the little course in town.

I've head of putting with upside-down drivers on windy days, but I've never tried it.

I have a buddy who's a serious upside down putter guy. It works for him, but I can't do a damn thing with it. It's cool to watch, lots of twists and turns.

Yep.

Ion for every makeable shot inside 150 feet. If I'm throwing a utility disc in that range, it's not to put it in the basket, just to park it.

Honestly, I think anything around 80-150' for most people, is just a park job. I don't think you realistically expect to make it. If you do it's great, but most the time you just want to save par.

I'll use a Comet, but it's more of a spin shot instead of a putt when it gets too far out. If I do hit chains it usually never sticks though lol

^^^see above quote.

I use a beat poop dx glow shark. Barely takes any power to fly perfectly straight.

only if playing dubs, and my partner has laid up on the green already, i will sometimes rip a buzzz at it

My first 6 months of playing were 1 disc rounds with a DX Shark. I feel it with the Shark!

Same putter for everything

 I also use the same putter for everything. If I have an akward putt I still use my putter. If I ever come to a situation that calls for a sidearm putt I will still use my putting putter. On most shots that are 325' or less I throw a putter unless its a big dogleg (then I usually throw a Firebird).

I always find myself throwing fuses into the basket on second shots, but other than that I'm throwing putters almost exclusively inside 250'.

I use a Pro Pig for super headwind putts (20+ mph) but that's about it. Even that's a putter but one I suspect very few people actually use to putt with.

classic blend suspect, sticks where it lands so I can run it with great reward and little risk

Same here! And after a nice sticky landing, I'll frequently pick the Suspect right back up and bang it into the chains; entirely skipping the Putter Putting disc...

Big up to the shark also! With very little effort my light shark will cruise straight in the fifty to eighty foot range. I also use drivers for some forehand anny putts, especially ones that need to go left then come back and shaping approaches in the woods.

The Shark is definitely an "all purpose disc". Feels great as a putter and flies pretty well. It's a little too stable at low speeds though. Personally I never use it for putting. If I'm trying to put it in the basket I use a putter.

I have a Star Mako I use for such shots..

Ditto. I am terrible at ranging a putter, I can't make mine glide very well. But I do all right with the super straight Mako and it's awesome glide. I do pretty well forehanding a champion shark from about 30-50 ft out too.

I was one of those guys that just couldnt figure out mids. Then i started using a putter for every approach shot 200ft or less. I know my mids better now, but if i am running at the chains putting putter every time(sss wizard).

As folks like their Sharks, I will putt with my MVP Proton Axis after I use it for a short drive or long approach. Like the feel of the disc and it powers down well.

one guy I play with, will on occasion, in a headwind putt with a firebird
