[Other] You can only carry 4 disc and...

Fuzion Warden (so I can putt and throw it)
Lucid Emac Truth (because its just an awesome disc)
Moonshine River (my comfort mold in its most stable plastic)
Fuzion Sheriff (Longest disc I can throw)

Threads like this must look really bizarre to non-DGers. Like, post after post of nothing but

"Aardvark
Cyclops
Star Buzzard
Harbinger"

I'm going to start a disc golf brand now and our first 4 discs will be named the Aardvark, Cyclops, Buzzard, and Harbinger. Seriously though, Cyclops and Harbinger are pretty good disc names.

just curious what does the jade do for you?
what type of shots etc?
I'm an older player without great arm speed and am just trying to gain distance. My Jade is 157g Opto and I'm pretty much using it for all driving unless I am fighting much wind. Truthfully, I keep changing discs trying to find the magic bullet, but I really know better, I need to be working on my form.:wall:

Let me be honest here - you are not alone. I just started playing disc golf this year and too have been trying to find that "magic bullet" that instantly flies further, etc.
Yet, all along I should have known it was a form issue more than anything else. :wall:

I bagged this setup for a period of 10 years, all Max weight:

Star Destroyer
Star Firebird
Pro Firebird
Medium Voodoo

36 year old me is tired and starting fresh, building a cart with all new molds. Carrying four discs can work but as I get older, I'm leaning toward more molds with similar rims (1 of each OS, S, US all in 20mm, 13mm, 10mm, etc) and relying on disc choice and consistency rather than on athleticism and minimal disc choice.

Funny thing about the 4-disc vs 1-disc theory is that my 1 wouldn't make the 4...

Soft N-Proxy
Buzzz
Lucid Felon
Q-JLS

I have a Z-Cyclone that I use as an OS-Mid and is my most dependable disc. However, it would not unseed the drivers and doesn't qualify according to these rules as a mid.

Putter - Retro Dagger, all putts.
Midrange - Lucid Emac Truth, works on multiple lines.
Driver - Lucid Felon, slightly beat up one
Bonus - Fuzion Defender, long bomber shots

Putter: Warden
Mid: Axis
Driver: Saint
Extra: Volt. Depending on the course may switch out for a Harp

I'll play

Driver: 151g neutron Relay (though I probably won't throw it).
Mid: 165g proton Alias (Go to every time)
Putter: 174g soft proton Anode (Always).
Utility: 156g soft electron Ion (Does everything else).
