i crossed the 500 round mark
I've been away from DGCR for about 5 months now. I worked 2 full time jobs for about 4 months straight and had very little time to throw let alone read about it. I quit the second job about a month ago and have been getting as many quality games in a day as...
Vitals:
years playing/experience: 8 months / 311 rounds
right/left: right handed
throwing style: forehand (just starting to try to figure out backhand, not much luck so far)
golf distance avg/max: putter- 50'/200' mids- 0'/0' (have none, see bag) driver- 300'/375'

age: 42 coming in...
I haven't played in a tournament yet for several reasons. The main reasons: skill level (I would only be comfortable playing at the Rec level, if there is one), fear of the unkown(rules, procedures, atmosphere etc), lack of equipment (need more discs etc.).
I hope to maybe try a tournament next...

I believe my FH is smooth and form is coming along, in my opinion, for what it's worth. So a Saint goes on the "want to try" list also. Thanks for the imput! :thmbup:
I hear ya on the time change, now imagine adding in freezing temps and wind chills. lol! Has me down to about 10 a week right now, snow arriving will knock it to 5 a week I bet. :gross:

I have only found a couple discs, like that QJLS, that didn't fly right. The shape of the disk is actually the biggest issue as far as throwability fh. Anything with a putter style design, like a Roc, is more difficult to get a comfortable grip. So, that is what I meant mainly. Other than that...
Will do, same goes for me over here and thanks for the info! I will probably be sticking to my area through the winter, but am trying to get a battle plan set for spring. Like I said that's one of the few I haven't hit in that area, so I will be there eventually !!
