This virgin course will challenge your technical skills unlike many others (a la holes 6, A, B, 16, 18). It doesn't punish you unfairly. Good mix of shorter and...

I attended this park...
Champ Roc3 is my go to. It's a freakin tank and can blast through small twigs. It's good as a FH roller too. Very controllable. If I have more room to throw, I love the control I have with my Sexton Firebird.
Champ Roc3 is my go to. My home course is very wooded and it works as a great utility disc. Since it's very wooded, I don't often need distance on my FH rollers, so no experience with drivers, but I think I'll be giving my '17 Sexton Firebird a roll when I get out there tonight!
Star Destroyer - I only throw forehand, it's way too beefy for my BH. I can throw it 300-325, but like to use it for more of shaping shots with that OS fade right (RHFH).
My Champ Leopard is probably my favorite, but my beast is my long drive disc.
What kind of US midrange might be worth...
As a n00b...
As a 2nd year player, I've cycled a few discs and have found a bag that is one I will try to settle into and beat in this year:
Star Destroyer
Champ Beast
Champ Roadrunner
Champ TeeBird
Champ Leopard
Champ Roc3
Pro D Buzzz
Wizard SSS

Not according to some of the pros, such as Feldberg. As he describes @ the 39:00 mark here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_7RPOmSSsU
Then again, this is an older vid, and I am just a n00b, so please correct me if I misunderstand how this is currently being enforced.
A-3 @ 1:55 is technically illegal now. You are supposed to put the 2nd foot down behind you lie, demonstrating balance, before stepping across your lie.
I found this clinic put on by David Feldberg to be very helpful in getting me on track. I am new to disc golf (new to taking it seriously) and desperately needed direction on how to develop a putting method. This has helped tremendously already:

I saw a 109g Leopard too, but worry that a fairway driver may not be as friendly when putting. I like the idea of lil Wizards (thanks for the link jedeye).
My heavier putters are just too much for my little ones to handle. I read about the EDGE discs by Innova, which weigh about 100g, but I cannot find them anywhere. Any recommendations on a good disc for the kids?
