    DGCR Aces 2013!!!

Lion's Park in Temple I aced #20 at Lion's Park course in Temple, TX earlier this week. I threw a Wasp 210 feet, and it skipped into the basket. It's my third ace.

    best all around disc

I'd go with Squall or a Buzzz depending on the course, I suppose.

Review by austoroc in course Cactus Patch DGC

1.50 star(s) How to review this course? The benches are nice, and it's something I did not expect to see at this course. Some of the holes that I was able to play were nice, even though they're all short. It could easily be a fun ace run course if it had all of the baskets in place. The bad are absolutely...

Review by austoroc in course Circle C Metro Park @ Slaughter Creek

4.00 star(s) One of the Best in Austin The best thing about this course is the variety of the holes. Even though the course play fairly long from the short tees, it really doesn't feel like that long after playing from the long tees. There's a distinct difference to the feel of the course from short and long...

Review by austoroc in course Searight Park

3.00 star(s) A Popular Course — Both Good and Bad There are several good things about this course. First of all, the technical nature of the course design can help offset the main negative aspect: that the course's too short. When the weather comes in play, the course definitely play very different, and that...

Review by austoroc in course Zilker Park

3.00 star(s) A Convenient Location It's a short course. It's a perfect course to practice your mid-range throws if you're at least an intermediate or advanced player. It will make an easy and quick round when you're playing the course when it's not busy. Ever since they went with all 18 baskets, we all can...

    Wooden discs.

Well, I think everyone else should watch out for people like you and few others in this thread for making some puerile comments. Having said that, watching this video made me realize that I'd be very interested in finding out whether it's possible to make similar discs with different types of...

What? People hitting chains and people hitting trees? I'd think some deaf people would be glad to not having to hear people like you talk.

[MVP] how many volts do you have pre ordered?

Zero. Nada. Zip. I don't think I will ever even buy a Volt.

Post your most recent plastic purchase.

I got myself a couple of two CFR DX San Marino Rocs, and a Blizzard Champion Boss at 139g!

How many different manufacturers have you patronized?

I know I have bought (or received) at least a disc from the following: DGA Innova Discraft Aerobie Lat 64 Westside Discmania At this point, I don't think I even want to try new discs from the others unless it was in a player's pack or given to me by friends.... There's simply too many discs...

    One Disc

I probably would go with my Pro line Squall, but I might use my Z Buzzz SS or Cryztal Buzzz....

    [Discraft] Midnight Buzzz

I have one, and it doesn't feel like Z plastic... Not even close.... I'm not sure why some of you think so, and I suppose it would be a good time for me to ask if one of you can elaborate on that? For me, I thought it would be a bit more stiff, but it wasn't. It doesn't feel quite the same as...

I did ignore my "no more than $25" rule for buying discs, and got that Dynamic Discs Midnight Black Cryztal Buzzz.... It feels good in my hand, so I'm okay with it so far.

    First Round of 2012

I played by myself at Searight Park here in Austin yesterday. I was hoping i'll be lucky to hit an ace on the first day of the year, but nope.... I ended up with a score of -3, so I can't really complain.
