Review by blur in course Carmichael Park DGC

2.50 star(s) It is a course, not bad, not good Easy access, low crowds, decent baskets, shade short holes, two holes are separated from course This was a fun short, non crowded course in a park, it did not cross much park traffic which was nice. Baskets were in good shape and newer models, not sure what...

Whats the longest you've been unable to play?

I stopped playing for about two years.. got bored of all the local courses and didn't feel like driving 3+ hours just to play a round of disc.

    [Innova] Gummy star plastic?

So right... I have a Star Teebird that is hard as a rock and now this Star TL which is gummy.. I usually throw champ and there are very little variances in grip, but recently got some beat up star plastic that I have been enjoying and figured I'd give the plastic a go. Is the gummy stuff as...

    [Innova] Gummy star plastic?

I just came across a F2 Star TL the other day that was just as gummy and soft as the Pro TL.. In fact I though it was a pro TL until I saw the *TL marking.. Every other star plastic I have handled is hard and slick. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this..

    DG on ESPN... getting closer.

No worries, as you can see, I was hardly offended because I know I'm far from closed minded. :D Just had to give you some grief for jumping on that one. People are entitled to their own opinions. Believing that theirs is the only right answer, that would be close-minded. You did seem to take...

    DG on ESPN... getting closer.

Your entitled to your opinion as well as I am, so don't ASS-U-and-ME close-minded-ness as you are a prime example of a culprit. Regardless, I would not like commercialization and what comes along with a mainstream sport... Unfortunately it is inevitable, once you have created a market, you...

    DG on ESPN... getting closer.

I'm not saying that it should or shouldn't.. Just saying that I personally like the sport as underground with select few.. The in-formalities the small, close knit group of people who play regularly. It's a catch22, popularity helps in some areas and hinders in others. I just witnessed a...

    DG on ESPN... getting closer.

Maybe it's just me, and I'm sure I'm going to get reamed, but... I personally would prefer that DG not be on ESPN.. Just my opinion, I like disc golf because it IS NOT mainstream and there are not little wannabe kiddies dressing in the finest fashions of the sport throwing discs everywhere...

Would you rather play a tournament with tone poles or portable baskets?

I grew up playing object/post courses...
