I was looking for this exact disc and I tried a Tracker for a bit, and then through a trade I got a star echo leopard that turned out to be pretty overstable, flies like my 167 star wraith honestly. And this has fit the gap I had perfectly.
Zone, best flick approach disc by far. You will get a nicer more controllable skip from this then from any driver or other putter. I swear by this disc.
YES! I do a breathing exercise as well. The deep breathing helps me concentrate. I really focus on breathing with my "balls", no joke. Full deep breaths from my head to my nether regions, focusing on the link I want to hit, with the confidence that I am going to make this putt 100%. This has...
I actually heard a similar, albeit slightly more believable but still ridiculous concept like this. Say you throw a blind hole and there is a little kid down at the basket and he takes your disc and puts it in the basket and then walks away. You didn't see the kid put it in there, you just round...
I highly suggest picking up a Stalker first off. A great disc, similar to a leopard. Surge is similar to a Wraith and flies consistently and far. An Avenger SS for hyzer flips, turn overs, huge annies. And then I also forehand a flick and a Pulse, which are pretty overstable. They make some...
I've probably got 50-60 discs. I carry about 20 or so. Most of mine are doubles of the same mold in slightly different weights and different stages of wear. Aviar Driver, Zone, Comet, Wraith, Flick.
I've been doing the opposite of the new mentality here, which is to disc down and work on technique. I've disced up and now throw my either a decently worn flick, brand new flick, decently worn zone, or brand new zone. I'll sometimes flick a vulcan when I want the disc to go far and way left...
Wow, finally a HOD that I know. The back 9 at this course are all wide open so the wind often comes into play in a big way.
From Red, it's a nice glidey mid range anny right into the basket. I throw my star shark here. Try to stay away from the tree.
From the blue, it's really hard to drive...
Comet, best understable mid. I carry a Z and a beat Elite-X. Both have their place. The Z is max weight and decently overstable for a comet, but still has fantastic glide. The Elite-X is fantastic to release with a bit of hyzer and watch it turn and slowly glide to the right. Highly recommend...
