If everyone who couldn't throw like Will Schusterick quit the game, it would just be...um, Will out there throwing by himself and the rest of us following him around filming it.
It's great how he starts the article off:
"Still, some believe it isn’t even a sport. Well, to those people, I have to think disc golf is even less of one."
That's like someone insulting you by saying "you're ugly!" and your argument against this statement is "oh yeah, well, that guy over...
I'd heard this story in person, and it's great to read about it again. But it only makes me think that I could have been the one to come across the "Bad Towel" as I was on the course that day.
:gross:
I grew up in Colorado, but it took me moving out to San Francisco, CA to start playing the sport. My buddy (from CO) came out to visit and brought his discs. He said there was a sick course in Golden Gate Park that he wanted to check out. Some other friends and I bought starter packs and we all...
Smack talk you can only use on one guy, or maybe only on dudes named Kyle?
On poor drives (a la Major League) "I don't think this ones got the distance..."
How is Anderson Valley in Booneville not on this list?! Not a great course by any means, but there's a fantastic brewery ON THE GROUNDS. This should automatically vault this course into top contention.

A buddy of mine played Sundance a couple weeks ago, and the conditions were perfect. That was, however, pre-flooding here on the Front Range. Best case scenario, it's just muddy or a bit washed out.
I hit my third ace last Friday (the 13th!) on hole #10 (red tee) at Colorado Heights University DGC.
I was playing a tour guide round with my friends (Klay and his wife) prior to the Rocky Mountain Women's DG Championship. I threw my Buzzz on a laser line and crashed the chains. Good thing...
Yeah, most of his actions say puppy too. Except for his grumblings when he lays down and the fact that he forgets he's old and expends all of his energy in the first 5 holes.
This is my disc dog Fletch, aka Pooh Bear, aka Pooh Butt.
I don't strap the backpack to him anymore (he's got some fatty tumors on his side) and he's getting up there in age (almost 12), but he loves to get out on the course.
He's got a habit of standing on the tee pad when you're about to...
Colorado Heights Univ. (CHU) is my home course, and I have a yearly pass. The pass comes with a buddy as well, so PM me if you'd like to meet up to play it. If you're in the Denver area, you should def. look into checking it out.
