We have quite a few deaf DGers here in Seattle, I see a lot of emails because of them, so I will actually try it to get discs back. I have also seen people write "text only". It is also easy because we have a shop that takes drop offs.

I don't see how they could be in most courses. They would be instantly stolen and or vandalized. I'm an RN too and see the need for them, I just don't see how idiots would keep their hands off of one in a disc golf course.

I put the lowe's version on my shoes, it works great so far. It does turn them a little white, but for DG shoes I'm not looking for style.

It actually sounds like a pinched nerve. When I first started throwing forehand the same thing happened to me, I was not smooth and trying to power everything. Ice, ibuprofen and rest helped. I had a buddy that had the same symptoms, required surgery to move the nerve, his was from pitching.

Duct tape and ribbon saved me a few discs in KC when I played snow golf. Works great, even if it sinks the ribbon sticks out, doesn't affect the flight much if any.
