Duh, I'm behind the times. Congrats on your job!!! Do you like it? My new one will be uneventful compared to the hospital. I always thought I wanted to assist on Biopsies, etc...but mostly the extra duties got to be a pain. So here, I won't do anything other than sit and screen slides all day. My only concern is posture. Hanging your head over a microscope takes a toll on the body. The money was just too good tho. ::Shrugsmilie:: I guess I officially sold out!

It was an AMAZING GAME. I missed the first 2 1/2 periods due to work, but I got home with something like 9 minutes left in the third, Hawks down 1-0. With about 2 minutes left, Canucks went on the PP, so it seemed totally over...UNTIL CAPTAIN SERIOUS AKA JOHNNY "SO F'ING AWESOME" TOEWS STOLE THE PUCK, SKATED THROUGH THREE DEFENDERS GOT KNOCKED DOWN AND SCORED A REBOUND GOAL FROM HIS STOMACH RIGHT BETWEEN LUONGO'S LEGS.

I was seriously running around the house shouting. I thought we had them, everything was going the Hawks way, got an early OT PP, with a REAL good opportunity that Sharp missed, and then Campoli turned it over needlessly doh and Burrows became the hero (great play by Burrows, give the man credit).

Haha, yeah, I have weird tastes as well. I don't know jack about music on the whole, the theory behind it frightens and confuses me.

As for the friends list, I don't really use it that way. Everyone on there is people that I've played with casually (i.e. no tournaments either), since there is no other way to keep track of it on here. That also means it is going to be an adventure trying to get people on there!!!

Yeah, I certainly like mangled/processed/effects-laden vox over clean vox in a lot of stuff. I definitely enjoy clean vox in older stuff, but that was back when they'd use huge ass analog mics....the mics and digital stuff today lends itself more to processed vox than the clean stuff, imo.

Aw yeah!!!! Spreading the good word!! What absolutely boggles me is that he didn't care for Arcade Fire. I mean, seriously, WTF? Next time I see him I am going to incapacitate him, put in Funeral, and play it until he gets it. I was at their third and final Chicago show last night, had me in tears (almost).


As for Chromeo, OK, I get it, it's not for everyone. But then he gives me Herbie Hancock - Future Shock, and it's like the exact same thing!!!!! How can he like that but not the other?
