Favorite Course in Southwest Chicagoland
Love the elevations of the course. Excellent fairways to execute. Good shots out of tree line, especially the one on top of the hill pretty much thrown over the forest.
The area turned, making it a better course to play afternoon well before day break...

Too many redesigns
Middle of the park holes are wide open to learn new discs.
New placement of forests holes offer no line, and almost assure off target shots or tree ricochets.
Played Haines pretty much everyday throughout my teens. I've seen this park redesigned something like four times...
Thanks for the comments. I was just looking at the pic online. I didn't think it was, but the pic was deceiving. Never held one and the stores out by be only sell innova or basic discraft. But if its straight up to 300 then I'll be taking a trip to find the nearest store to actually hold one...
I've been trying to find a steady RHFH fairway driver. I was looking at the picture of the Paige Pierce Ti Stalker and it looks like the same mold as the x-clone (with the lip and raised dome). Anyone throw this? Is is flippy? I don't have a big arm, and i don't neccessarily need a huge OS...
I know of a couple places in chicago area, but I'm looking for a place near to where I'm currently at. Obviously, I'm looking for fair prices with good variety, but most important I need the people there to know what they are talking about. And please the Den on campus does not count.
Fromthewoods what with the hate?
Joshuajames: no prob. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one looking for a mid FH.
I'm thinking the Drone or the Buzz might be best but I have to wait till I can find a decent store where I'm at to test the grip. Are either flat on the rim?

Wide Open as far as the eye can see
Good long holes to test drives. Wide open space for learning new disc. Couple of good holes over the ravines.
I would say it had terrible signs if it had any but I can't cause there are none. Some holes don't even have pads to throw from so you just kind of...

Best Local Course
Maintained. Good use of long shots with short shots. Front 9 easy to follow.
Some holes don't have pads. Hole 4 has a basket on two poles so its above your head. It's irritating to get a solid score on that hole. Back 9 is not finished and honestly looks like what they...
I'm looking for a forearm midrange disc <250 ft. Most of the midranges I find have large lips which make it hard for me to flick. I just recently started up disc'n again since I finally completed graduate school, but played pretty much all my teens with my older bothers/friends. I use to use...

Good for a college course
The signs are awesome, especially for hole 4. The course is well maintained and the use of the space is well done. Quick course for a lunch time throw.
The majority of holes are 200 ft and the placement of holes almost always will force you into tree line. Especially...
