Less than 5 hours from where I'm at, which is about 45 minutes south of Green Bay. For that kinda drive, you gotta make it at least a weekend-long expidition, especially if you plan on playing Highbridge Gold, which will take EVERYTHING out of you.
Yes, Highbridge is TOTALLY worth the drive. By next year they'll have six 18-hole courses, but the 4-1/2 they already have are pretty amazing. You'll experience everything disc golf has to offer up there!
The newer Oshkosh course, though incomplete, is SO MUCH better than that crappy Red Arrow course...it seems like people just don't care about it; when I was there, vandalism was rampant, and it seemed like the course actually had potential if someone actually put some "disc golf love" into it. Winter Park is definitely my favorite in NE WI, and to hear that there might be another 27 holes in the works on the adjacent county property just makes me shudder with glee....
Howdy! I see you've been to pretty much every course in my area except LTC! Let me know if you're ever in the area; Cleveland's halfway between Manitowoc and Sheboygan, and the course is literally 2 blocks off the I-43 exit. It's nothing like Winter Park, or even Silver Creek, but it's a decent course.
And welcome to DGCR! I've been out here less than a month and have been addicted since I joined...I've got more courses in my Wish List than I'll ever be able to play!
