9th Lions course that i've played (i think) 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 17, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Nice baskets
+All tee areas marked by basic signage that gets the job done ok for this park. Tees are natural but level.
+Park is overall very nice and has other amenities including playground, shelter, bathrooms. Course plays on south half of park and avoids other stuff. No safety issues as long as no one happens to be walking around on the course.
+A fair amount of distance and decent distance variation. Not too short like a lot of park courses.
+Hole 1, 2, and 9 use the limited elevation well to start and finish the course.
+Course is overall pretty open and you should be able to keep your discs out in the open. Not a lot of challenge from trees or greenery.
+Navigation is pretty easy although I remember seeing two baskets at once a few times and having moderate confusion.
+Will be good for introducing new players. Will keep them entertained for a decent amount of time until they can throw pretty far.

Cons:

-Tees are natural
-Signs are very basic
-Parking is in a different spot from the rest of the course and is very limited. Basically on the end of a small residential street.
-Not a lot of challenge as long as you have some basic control of your disc.
-Roughs are rough if you accidentally end up in there. Err on the side of caution and avoid them if you can.

Other Thoughts:

+There is nothing inherently bad about this course. It's a basic, small town park style course. It is a safe and serviceable 9 holer. I'd play here again if I was in town but wouldn't seek this course out if I was short on time. Other course baggers like me will get a quick round in and have a decent time.

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 12, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ Very easy navigation
+ Clear tee signs
+ Well maintained
+ Good flow to the course
+ Nice use of sparse elevation and trees

Cons:

- Not a lot of variety or shot shaping
- Hole 5 has some very rough rough, if you can't drive 250', play around it.

Other Thoughts:

This is a totally fine course, but there's nothing that really stands out or makes it special.
Good course for a quick 9.
