Purpose-

The Bluebird Championship Disc Golf Tournament Series creates a lively and engaging forum to
compete against peers in the great game of disc golf. In addition the series should promote
interest and participation in disc golf throughout the state to organizations, various user groups
and residents which are affiliated with the Missouri Park and Recreation Association. The
tournaments will also promote the development of disc golf in both a recreational and
professional atmosphere while supporting the operations of the Missouri Parks and Recreation
Association.

Philosophy-

The Missouri Park and Recreation Association wants to provide the opportunity to compete in
the series for minimal costs. Therefore, all registration fees will be kept to a minimum.

Participants-

The Bluebird Championship Disc Golf Tournament Series is open to participants of all ages and
ability levels.

Divisions-

The following are the recognized divisions for the Bluebird Tour. NOTE: There must be at least
two (2) players to make a division. In the instance of not enough women to make a division,
those women may choose to compete in the men's division. Men may not compete in a
women's division.

Structure-

The Bluebird Championship Disc Golf Tour is a multi-city disc golf tournament, held throughout
the state of Missouri. Started by the Missouri Park and Recreation Association in 2010 as a
single-region tournament series, this tour is now a state-wide event. MPRA recognizes four
regions within the state, and each region will host its own local disc golf tour. The top eight (8)
finishers of each Local Tour Division will play in a Regional Championship. The top three (3)
finishers from each Regional Championship Division will compete in the State Tournament of
Champions.
