Curious do you know around what time the full 30-hole course will be setup by Friday? I plan to get out there early and get some practice in.
Just picked up a keg of Centinneal Ale from www.lengthwise.com for saturday nite's dinner with the Ninjas. Headed out in am for a look at the new temp holes. Woohoo cant wait!
I was just playing 6 of the temp holes. Way different than last year.

We're going to try to get temp baskets up asap. We want to practice too. Some guys were starting as early as 6 AM.

Looks like some completely different shots compared to previous years.. no holes near the airport, water or penninsula for one.. excited to see what is out there this year.
Fortunately we had a good amount of rain this year. Unfortunately some of the lakeside holes from last year are under water.

Played the Coyote and as always, Had a blast!
With Mau back at the helm I will absolutely be back yr after yr.
Good group of volunteers, weather was great, beer was cold.
The BBQ the Ninjas do is 2nd to none.
There's only one thing that I believe that will make this event better. Bring back the KO course.
1 round of 30 holes is a little long to play with out a break.(unless you count waiting with 4 groups to tee in a back-up)
This was the only thing I heard the other Open players bitching about.
The last time Mau ran the CC w/the KO course wasn't there 236 players? With all the young blood helping him out there in Ventura this tourney will continue to be a success.
Don't have any pics but I do now have the memory of shooting 1 stroke better than McCabe on the 2nd round. Woohoo!

Thanks for the comments. 30 is pretty grueling.
In 09 Unkl Jesse went with the two course set up with 27 holes each. That was our biggest at 213. The original course was split up into the KOyote and PAYote courses.
