I just ordered my Spud today. I was wondering if anyone had any idea where to find a pair of rims/tires. I've scoured the web and can't find them any cheaper than about $40 for 2 shipped.

This was one of the more pricey items. I think gottagogottathrow sells replacement wheels for their cart. I go mine from ebay. I think you can also get scooter mag wheels from amazon or a bike shop. Try craigslist or a utility parts shop that sells wheels for strollers, bikes, scooters, etc. The best I ever saw was like $12-$15 per wheel + shipping.

Harbor freight has 10" wheels on rims w/ bearings for 5.99 a wheel. Kind of balloon like for good floatation.

I have those on my bigger cart. They work great and can be found locally at Northern Tools or online. The chunky ones can be aired down to provide a cheap and simple suspension (think bush planes in Alaska) and they are dirt cheap.
If someone couldn't carry a large bag because of back issues, this would be OK. But its a portable luggage cart[that someone has renamed] and its durability is suspect. Not to mention the point of a cart[to me] is to SIT on it.
