Dispelling the image...

Lol all this measuring reminds me of a friend of a friend in high school. He would measure every thing in ice chests because he was always cramming ice chests of beer for parties and canoe trips into the trunks of other people's cars and suvs.

Dude... am I the only person on this board that doesn't use drugs? Does it help your technique or something?
(on second thought, that shocked looks more like stoned)

Non-user here. Never have...never will.

I saw this the other day, man that sucks. I knew Jeff and played a couple rounds with him while he lived here in Colorado. Real good player and he was on Innova's Team. They already removed him too.

78 lbs, man that's a ton of weed.

Bad luck that cop had a dog with him. Bet that wasn't the first bust they made. That close to Canada, I bet most of those cops travel with drug dogs.

Thing that pisses me off the most is how the reporter mentions disc golf so much... :(

Same, I don't judge and think it should be legal, but I have no desire to use it.

Non user as well, but I don't care about people around me smoking. Me not smoking has resulted in a majority of my club jig bringing that to the course anymore

caffeine? tobacco? alcohol? aspirin?
When I stated non-user, I meant in the use of illegal things. But to answer your list, no tobacco, very little alcohol, limited asprin and yes on caffeine.

Do I think that w**d should be legalized, don't really care one way or another. But I do think that people who partake in it, should be more careful of how they do.

for the sake of legal consequences, they should be more careful. if they endanger anyone, they should be more careful.

He was also recently dropped from innova. hes been on tour for 4 or so years now. Originally a CO local pro, moved to bowling green a couple years ago. Cool guy, big mistake.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be high and mighty... I'm just kind of surprised at how many people use MJ.

Alcohol: No
Tobacco: No
Caffeine: From time to time... Dr Pepper and Lost energy drinks
Aspirin: No

Illegals: Tried w**d once in high school and that was enough for me. But I have seen people on the course using MJ, I guess going out into the woods with no cops around makes it a good location to spark up?

This thread is kinda started to cross into a dangerous territory. Lets keep the advice on how to smuggle drugs to a minimum shall we?

Sorry. I'm not a smuggler. I don't even know any smugglers. Just common sense.

People smuggling some kinds of things (exotic animals, child porn, slave/indentured laborers, child prostitutes, hard stuff like m*th, h*roin*, etc.) should be caught. However, I don't think anyone on this board qualifies (I hope not), so passing along common sense is not going to help anyone who is really doing dubious stuff.

But arresting somebody for w**d is simply beyond the pale. Totally insane. And to consider them as being in the same ballpark as other kinds of smuggling is absurd. Enough said.

Now every time someone googles child porn they'll end up here...
And you thought the people the weed stereotype brought to the course was bad.

They dropped him extremely fast the minute news hit about the bust. I know he was on there a couple weeks ago, cause I was admiring the new site. Just plain stupid, it's really unfortunate too. Good player and kewl dude.

wow up to 15 years in prison...bagtags = soap on a rope.....

He's gonna do a lot of time 15 years is max for the felony, he's still got 3 misdemeanors as well. Only way I see him not getting at least 10-15 is if he gives up the source.

Not exactly how google works...

On topic : There are bad apples everywhere. I dont think that this story will leave a remarkable dent in our sport.

Sad that in this day and age this guy will likely do 10+ years for something that is less harmful than alchohol......what a fuckin joke
