    Other info

    Aces:
    1. Shorewood Park, Loves Park, IL - Hole 4, 177 ft, 4/28/23
    2. Silver Creek, Harvey, MI - Hole 2, 145 ft, 9/19/24

DGCR members I have played with:
    Shuie

I threw almost exclusively forehand for the first 13 years I played disc golf before learning to throw backhand. Now I throw a mix, but predominantly backhand. I enjoy tight, technical woods courses, particularly with great natural beauty and elevation change. Wildlife sightings are always a plus.

I play longer open courses too but these do not speak to me the same way woods courses do. I also really enjoy well designed nine hole courses to mix in shorter rounds. I love to travel to play disc golf and am always looking to add new states. With 25 states and one Canadian province played, my favorite areas for disc golf are Wisconsin, Michigan's UP, and Kansas City. I carry my gear in an awesome custom Pound Disc Golf Octothorpe - highly recommended.

I try to keep reviews as objective as possible and keep my average for reviews as close to 2.5 as possible. It is skewed a bit higher than this because I tend to seek out excellent courses.

    My favorite courses to date:
    1. Sandy Point Resort - Lac Du Flambeau, WI
    2. Clover Cliff Ranch - Elmdale, KS
    3. The Tailings - Iron River, MI
    4. Harmony Bends - Columbia, MO
    5. Hummel Park - Omaha, NE
    6. Blue Ribbon Pines - East Bethel, MN
    7. Standing Rocks - Stevens Point, WI

Note: These are my personal favorites, not necessarily the "best" courses I've played. Another way to put it would be the courses I most want to play again someday.

Did you play "Lenexa DGC" on Thursday? I noticed you marked the course condition about the same time I was playing it. I just played tee 9 to basket 1 for the missing basket.

We are tripping over each other here. When I planned my trip Lexington Lake had no pictures so I took a ton on Thursday only to see you beat me to it! 🤣

yea, I have been working on Kansas, up to 329 courses played in the state. I played 8 courses Thursday and I record every hole with pictures. (that is why I just crossed 19,000 pictures uploaded here) I am about to upload a bunch more today and tomorrow.
I'm jealous of your trips this year, man! Looks like a great year of disc for you. :)
Espresso, I enjoyed your review of Campton Hills. I love that place. It is my favorite niner. I noticed you are from Wheaton. Have you heard anything about the plans to install a disc golf course in Danada South Park? I first heard about it back in June, but every time I look on this site, I do not see it. I hope the park district did not scrap the plans. It would be a nice addition to that area.
